HOWTO Remove/Replace SIM Unit in Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 GT-P7500
This post documents how to remove or replace a SIM unit in a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 GT-P7500.

Click images to see full size.

1. Remove the back cover from the device. The back cover is held on to the main chassis by clips.

The grey plastic bezel around the side of the glass panel can be unclipped by prying the bezel away from the glass gently. Use a plastic prying tool or your fingernails to do this.
There are approx 25 clips in total.

2. Unplug the battery.

3. Remove the SIM unit by removing the 3 screws. Pry the flex cable plug upward away from the main board. The SIM unit will lift out.

Unfortunately I could not do a full tear down for this model yet. Be careful if you are trying to undo the three main flex cables as the plug plastics are very fragile.

If anyone has some tips on the best way to unplug those bad boys then drop me a comment or email, it is much appreciated. A full tear down for this model I haven't found online yet so maybe one day I will get the chance to do a full tear down and document it.
